![]() ![]() I saw many little kids crying as they got off the fast run. One side of the lanes was much faster than the other. Two exit paths for 15-20 lanes of people which took several minutes to clear in between each run. The waiting in between each group was lengthy because there were only two paths to exit at the bottom, and those were very icy and treacherous. There was a line of at least 5 people for each lane, each time. ![]() There were only two lifts up to the 15-20ish lanes on each side. Both my son and I fell hard at separate points. The main path to the lifts was very icy along the edges without any sign or salt put down. There was no signage or rules listed and no employees around for guidance, and with new people coming in every hour, confusion was high. Providing lanyards or label paper lift tickets would have made this much easier. With heavy coats and gloves, this majorly slowed things down at every card access point. You are given a plastic card that you have to swipe multiple times to actually get to the tubing. Everything about this experience was stunningly mismanaged and so inefficient. In our 2 hr slot, we were able to ride three times (we didn’t attempt any breaks in that time). The only positive experience was that the staff were polite and helpful to the extent they could be. This only added to the 35 to 40 minute wait times.Ĭamelback should be ashamed of themselves. The runs were EXTREMELY slow, so much so that most riders had to jump off at least 20 to 30 feet before the end and walk down the hill. People were loosely wearing their masks and standing less than 6 feet from complete strangers. Not only did Camelback take advantage of its customers, it made no effort to ensure social distancing or the rider experience. We only had enough time to complete 3 rides, or $23.33 per trip down the hill. I can see from previous reviews that management’s response to customers dissatisfied by the high prices is a shrug and a “well it was a high demand weekend.” If it’s a high demand weekend and you raise prices, you should at the very least ensure that riders are able to have a good experience.
